Hopefully there was a fight at their office water-cooler the next day.
It's time once again to hand out a new new Turd In A Pair of Jeans Award!
The latest recipient is actually a group of recipients from the lovely state of Mississippi, who tortured a disabled pregnant woman to death.
Don't take our word for how deserving they are; here's what CNN had to say:
ALTON, Illinois (AP) -- Banished to the basement, the 29-year-old mother with a childlike mind and another baby on the way had little more than a thin rug and a mattress to call her own on the chilly concrete floor.
Dorothy Dixon ate what she could forage from the refrigerator upstairs, where housemates used her for target practice with BBs, burned her with a glue gun and doused her with scalding liquid that peeled away her skin.
They torched what few clothes she had, so she walked around naked. They often pummeled her with an aluminum bat or metal handle.
So we'd better get to work at making those awards, since we have a total of 5 to construct, and that's a lot of turds to find/produce.
Until next time...

This week's episode of The Dave and Steve Show is going to be delayed until tomorrow night, so that Steve can fill in with the Rolling Stones on their world tour.
Actually that's somewhat close to the truth, as Steve will be playing with his band, Vote for Pedro, at Finn McCools in The U District of Seattle. If you're in the area, make sure you swing on by, and for more information on Vote for Pedro, hit up their website, found at the world's longest URL, at: VoteforPedrotheBand.com!

It's hard to tell if this is fake or not, but either way it's pretty amazing to watch in slow motion.

The three of us have been wondering how on earth we could promote this new show of ours, and it looks like Fred and Sharon have the answer!
I think we may go with a fully animated commercial, since they seem to really seem to have that down.
Reminds us of something, but we can't quite put our finger on it.
The film is actually getting good early reviews, so we're pretty sure that Uwe must have been drunk at the time that he made it.
The Official Postal Website
The boys try a new format, Dave tests out some new audio drops, the crew hand out the first Turd In a Pair of Jeans Award, the boys discuss the latest news topics, Tracy's Mom leaves a voicemail and his wife leaves an email, and Dave explains why he's never been in a fight and probably shouldn't be. This plus a whole lot more.
To kick off the show, Dave explains that the boys are going to try out a brand new format to The Dave and Steve show. Each show will begin introductions, followed by news headlines, listeners, the main topic, and the wrap-up. They'll toss other bits in from time to time, but this structure should give listeners a much better idea of what is coming up next in the show.
Dave shows off some new audio drops he worked on, which include some amazing audio clips from both Steve and Tracy!
The crew discusses the fact that they awarded the first Turd In a Pair of Jeans Award this past week to the Marine puppy tosser. Steve goes on to explain that the winners should be required to pay a penalty, which he explains.
The crew then launches into news headlines on Dog the Bounty Hunter, Madonna (which leads to a rant from Dave about why he hates the EMP), and the mom who pressured washed her child.
Next comes a real gem, as a very special caller has left a voicemail for the guys, and they listen to that along with reading a recent email they received.
The show gets wrapped up as the group discusses the fights they've taken part in througout their lives, including Dave physically riding a possible drug addict to the ground in a mini mart as his sister looked on.
All this and a whole lot more, on the most recent episode of The Dave and Steve Show!
Until next time... keep walking the walk.
The Dave and Steve Show - Episode #6
Why you never pop the question in such a public setting...
Let's go through a list of things that make this video awesome:
- The rejection.
- The irony of the announcers joking about it just before it happens.
- The girlfriend picking up speed as she leaves the court.
- The mascot walking the dejected man off the court.
- The NBA players laughing at the guy.
- The totally hot cheerleader giving him a pat on the back.
- The cup of beer that will ultimately lead to a 3 day bender where he will tell no less than 8,000 people how much he "loved that b*tch" and then begin to cry.
This video has it all!
Keep an eye on the box that the agent brings out of the house.
Was that the battering ram that they used?
"Hang on... turd in a pair of what?" you ask?
That's right, folks, it's The Dave and Steve Show "Turd In a Pair of Jeans Award"! This super-special award is handed out to those individuals who have done something to shame the human race in one form or another. In other words... they are no more than a turd in a pair of jeans.
We'll hand these awards out only when they are fully deserved, with our first going to none other than the Marine puppy tosser.
If you haven't seen him in the news, crawl out from under your rock and do a search on the ol' Google. This awesome guy appears to throw a puppy off a cliff in a recent YouTube video. While it's possible that the film is a hoax, even if that winds up being the case, he still gets the award for wasting our time.
We know he does not represent the vast majority of brave men and women in Armed Forces around the world, so please don't read too much into this. This is one isolated turd in a pair of jeans, and is very deserving of the title.
Look for more Turd In a Pair of Jeans Awards to be handed out in the future!
I'm buying one of these for each of the hosts this Christmas.
I would be mortified to pee in the open mouth of a giant clown, and I think I would probably just wet myself just walking up to the thing in the first place.
Anyone else find it ironic that the site hosting the video is called "Live Leak"?
We at the Dave and Steve Show would like to take a moment to recognize Brett Favre, who announced his retirement from professional football today.
Whether you're a fan of professional (American) football or not, the simple fact is that you should be a fan of Mr. Favre. As a diehard Seahawks supporter who got to see Brett and his team knock the Seahawks out of the playoffs this year, I still can't help but root for the guy.
In a world where professional athletes (and society in general) grow more and more narcissistic and egocentric each day, Brett was a man who let his play on the field do the talking. You never heard about Brett's run in with the law, or things of that nature, outside of an addiction to painkillers that he began taking to treat and injury. Even with that addiction Brett handled it with class and poise.
Brett was everything that was right about professional sports, and the reason that kids have heroes. In his last season, one of his best, he looked more like a 20 year old than a 17 year veteran of the league.
So hats off to you Mr. Favre. While we will miss seeing you on Sunday, we thank you for the time we did get to spend watching you play.
Some of you may have watched the clip of the two of us dancing and wondered, "Wow! How do those guys stay in such great shape?"
Three words...
The Hawaii Chair
People often ask Steve and I what we do in our spare time, when we're not recording the most amazing podcast known to man. To those people, I answer with this video:
The boys recap what they did over the weekend, Steve attends a condo-warming part, Tracy plays cowboys and indians with his mother, Dave goes "Semi-Pro," Steve fills us in on the latest in top-secret government weapons, Van Halen postpones their tour, Dave creates a senior league for NASCAR, and has a brand new prison blanket on the way to his kid.
The show starts of innocently enough with the guys sharing stories of how they spent their weekend. Steve went to a condominium warming party, Tracy listened to Western music with his mom, and Dave watched NASCAR (against his better judgement) and saw Semi-Pro.
This leads to Dave wanting to create a Senior League for NASCAR, and going over the many changes and regulations that would have to be put in place, should such a league come to pass.
The boys touch on the state of the Van Halen tour, and Tracy mentions how much David Lee Roth is looking like Sting these days.
Steve talks about a "depression ray" that the government is working on to take the spunk out of terrorists and anyone else they see fit.
Dave also talks about the blanket that was made for his infant son by a family member who is currently serving time in a federal prison. He claims it's made entirely out of cigarette cartons, but he's just joking... or is he?
It was an amazing show, and one you don't want to miss!
The Dave and Steve Show - Episode #5
The Van Halen tour has come to a whammy bar snapping stop.
According to TMZ.com, the Van Halen tour has been cancelled, or at least postponed indefintly. MelodicRock.com not only confirmed this based on an inside source, but even went on to state that it has nothing to do with David Lee Roth, fueling rumors that Ed is back on the bottle.
As a side note, it was hard to concentrate on typing up this post with Gary Cherone laughing so loud over my shoulder.
Tom Wilson (Biff from "Back to the Future") wrote a catchy little song to answer the questions he gets asked the most:
We've often wished we could write a song that answers all of the questions we get about the show.
Of course we play a few chords, and answer the first question of, "Why do you guys even bother?" and then we sort of play slower and slower as we sink into depression and eventually just stop.
Thanks to loyal Dave and Steve Show listener, Mike, for the video.
